About Olsen Olsen is an avant-garde/experimental film event in Leeds, screening short films and videos by contemporary artists and filmmakers alongside rarely screened work from film history. Olsen began in 2005 as a living-room cinema – where films and videos were shown to a small group of friends. Since then we have organised a series of Sunday afternoon screenings at the Hyde Park Picture House in Leeds (UK) where we serve a wide selection of teas and homemade cakes. Olsen brings lyrical, personal and abstract films to a well fed audience! Olsen is programmed by Joe Gilmore, Sarah Handley & William Rose
